This cache replaces Jones Pond Brook Cache, which had a great run but like so many early caches is gone from the map and the CO has gone from the game. Que sera sera - we are happy to put a new cache here. :)
Oddly enough, Jones Pond Brook has two names, as you see here with the East Coast Trail Association going with its other name, Houlihan's River. Since this cache earlier had Jones Pond Brook in its first incarnation, we now go with Houlihan's now on its second.
If you approach from Motion Drive to the north it is a meandering 20-30 minute walk to get here, while it would likely take the same amount of time to get here from the Middle Cove southern end of the Silver Mine Path. The view you will see if you approach from the north is shown in the pic below.
Alternatively, you could be really "cute" and approach from either Granda's Lane or the Silver Mine Head subdivision waterway and cut your travel time roughly in half from the above. Yet, as I saw on a town speed limit sign in nearby Outer Cove yesterday: "Life is not a race - Slow Down," the slow and easy apprach is likely the one which will serve you best, especially if you have a nice weather day on the day which this cache was placed. There's even a bench very near GZ for you to stop for a spell.
This cache is a 1L camo'd container, with the usual swag, logsheet and an old TB on initial hide. Please replace as found, such that the hint and description applies for future finders.
