Coordinates are for the Ramada.  We will meet there at 0445hrs and leave for the summit at 0515hrs. We'll talk about all things geocaching while at the ramada.  After the event, hiking to the summit is optionial.

I know its early but this is the best way to beat the heat (and get a decent parking spot).

In 2009 I hiked here as a way to pay my respects to those who gave their lives on September 11th. I've been doing it every year since.

Once we reach the top, We'll plant the flag at the summit and have a moment of silence.

Please bring Plenty of water.  More than you'll think you'll need.  Better to have extra than not enough.  Bring a snack to fuel your body as well.  Sturdy shoes, hat, and hiking poles will help too if unsure of your fitness level.

As with all my hiking events, please go at your own pace.  If you can't make it to the top, no worries, you can hike to the top or for a few minutes.
