Sagwon (Sagavanirktok One) is the name of a now abondoned camp built to service the construction of the trans-alaska oil pipeline. Little now exists except an overgrown airstrip 4 miles due south of the cache across the Sagavanirktok River.
The cache is located in a large pullout and is a nice spot to get off the Dalton Highway and take in the scenary.
