Springfield MN's Riverside Park is a great location to spend the day! The city's main park, located along the Big Cottonwood River, offers fishing areas along the river, canoe landing, 4 picnic shelters for rent, restrooms, play areas for all ages, swimming, baseball and softball fields, basketball court, horseshoes, sand volleyball court, tennis court and pickleball court.
Placed this cache while staying for our first time (definitely not our last!) across the street at Rothenburg Campground. This beautiful area and great, family friendly, trail system didn't have any caches, so we made it our mission to fix that.
