Betws-y-coed Memorial Hall
,

The Cache is not at the posted coordinates, instead you will find the village Memorial Hall steps that climb up from the road. To help calculate the final coordinates you will need to answer some simple questions further below and then input the answers into the equation

Before we go into the questions pleases read a little bit about the memorial Hall below

The Memorial Hall was built in 1927 by public subscription as a lasting memorial to the citizens of the community who had fallen in the Great War, it was built on a site formerly occupied by the National School. The schoolmaster lived in Bryn y Bont, the cottage next door. The Memorial Hall was opened in 1929

The substantial stone building occupies a prominent elevated central location in the village of Betws-y-Coed on the northern side of the river Llugwy. It is an attractive building consisting of a large hall, stage, balcony seating, toilets, kitchen and ancillary rooms.

Designed as public amenity for the local community which it has fulfilled for the last 80 years it continues to be an important facility to local organisations. The building whilst owned by Conwy County Borough Council is managed and fully maintained by the Community Council.

A wooden board inside the hall lists the local men who died in the First World War. The preface reads: “In grateful recognition of the men from this district who fell in the Great War 1914-1919.” Written after the names is: “Let those who come after see to it that their names be not forgotten.”

Another board lists three men and a woman who died in the Second World War. Preface: “In grateful recognition of those from this district who laid down their lives in the war 1939-1945.” Postscript: “Greater love hath no man than this: That a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Please answer the following questions below

1/. Top of the steps on the right hand side is a fence. How many vertical poles are along the fence = AB

Edit - please note a bush has been cleared to expose a fence post. Please subtract 1 from your count, hopefully this will sort out the issues

2/. How many metal rings are there in the wall above the bay window = C

3/. Around the outside perimeter of the Memorial Hall, How many corner lamps are there = D

4/. Around the back of the Memerial Hall you will find a blue wheel chair plaque with a directional arrow pointing to a room. How many letters are in the stated room = E

Edit - please count the English spelling

Please use the equation below to help find the final coordinates

N53 05. (D-A) (E-C+A) ((D+A)-(C+B))

W003 48. (E-(A+B)) (A*B) ((E-C)-(A+B))

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Please do not write any spoilers in your log, especially downloading photos of the hide and please re-hide the cache exactly how you found it. . Thankyou
