SESTA TAPPA: MARINA SERRA
La località è situata nella parte meridionale del comune di Tricase, sulla costa. Il litorale è caratterizzata da una costa alta e rocciosa, con scogli spesso a strapiombo sul mare; è ricca di piccole insenature frequentate da turisti e dagli stessi abitanti del posto, che prendono vari nomi (come Lavaturo e Acqua Viva) e grotte molto suggestive, spesso solo accessibili via mare. In una delle cale che costellano la costa, è presente un piccolo porticciolo di pescatori.
IL SENTIERO DEL NEMICO
Per raggiungere la cache a piedi dalla costa dovrete affrontare un'ardua salita, delimitata da muretti a secco e uliveti terrazzati: il sentiero del nemico. Si tratta di una vecchia stradina utilizzata in tempi lontani ed usata anche per il contrabbando del sale. Narra la leggenda che prende il nome dall'utilizzo che ne fecero gli abitanti del luogo per sferrare attacchi a sorpresa all'esercito nemico, durante l'invasione turca del Salento. Infatti, schiacciati tra i muretti a secco dell'esile tratturo, erano come topi in trappola, facili da attaccare dai lati.

SIXTH STAGE: MARINA SERRA
The town is located in the southern part of the municipality of Tricase, on the coast. The coast is characterized by a high and rocky coast, with rocks often overhanging the sea; it is full of small coves frequented by tourists and by the locals themselves, which take various names (such as Lavaturo and Acqua Viva) and very suggestive caves, often only accessible by sea. In one of the coves that dot the coast, there is a small fishing port.
IL SENTIERO DEL NEMICO (THE ENEMY'S PATH)
To reach the cache on foot from the coast you will have to face an arduous climb, bordered by dry stone walls and terraced olive groves: the path of the enemy. It is an old road used in ancient times and also used for the smuggling of salt. Legend has it that it takes its name from the use made by the inhabitants of the place to launch surprise attacks on the enemy army, during the Turkish invasion of Salento. In fact, squeezed between the dry stone walls of the slender sheep track, they were like trapped mice, easy to attack from the sides.
