The first version of this geocache was archived, so now we present to you... *drumroll please!*... Idaho Ave.: Version Two! Back and better than ever.
D.C. has a street named for each of the 50 states, plus Puerto Rico. As dedicated D.C. geocachers, we have made it our mission to hide a geocache on each of these streets. This challenge is mighty, but so is our Squad.
According to wikipedia, Idaho Ave. marks the western boundary of the Cathedral Heights neighborhood. Cathedral Heights is named for the beautiful and historic National Cathedral just down Mass Ave. The cathedral is a short walk away, as is the beautiful Glover-Archbold hiking trail that will take you up to Tenleytown or down to Georgetown. Cathedral Heights is a cozy and scenic place to go for a neighborhood walk, to check out the historic fire and police callboxes, or have a picnic. Enjoy your time walking around!
This tiny container is hidden on 39th St.--close to the intersection with Idaho. Bring those geocaching tweezers to access the log with ease.
