This is the new first-Wednesday Puzzling Puzzlers event which had to take a long hiatus due to Covid restrictions. I am reviving the event on a "substitute organizer" basis; when AndyW3901 is ready to take over the event again, I will hand it back to him. I do not have borrowing privileges in Chesterfield, so for the time being, the event will be held in Henrico, at the Glen Allen Branch of the library.
This month there will likely be no presentation to begin the evening, as I will be on the road throughout September, and I will be unlikely to have time to put something together. If anyone else would like to present a favorite puzzle-solving technique, please do! Message me. All ideas welcome! Everyone bring your favorite maddening puzzles that you have not yet been able to solve and we'll have a work session. I know that we in CVGA are very casual about posting "will attend" notes for events; however, I do try to provide home-baked goods for everyone present, so please do post your intention to attend so that I know how much to bring!
I am going to plan on having dinner at 5 p.m. at Franco's Italian Restaurant at 9010 Staples Mill Rd, and those who wish to do so are free to join me. if you intend to come to dinner, please message me with the number of people who will be there. There's plenty of room; we just cannot descend up on them without notice, as they do not have a large staff. The dinner is not part of the event, and you are welcome to come to either or both.
