I recently read about a historical event and decided it was interesting enough to justify being the subject of a puzzle cache.

A = Number of times that tank had been filled to capacity
B = Age of fatality whose occupation was listed as firefighter
C = Increase in temperature over the previous day (in Fahrenheit)
D = Last two digits of year that events occurred
E = Diameter of tank (in feet)
East 175° 01.YYY, where YYY = F + G + H + I + J
F = Street number where tank was located (C……… St)
G = Day in January when flood occurred
H = Age of the two children who died
I = Height of tank (in feet)
J = Number of letters in name of state where flood occurred
