Some of you will already know what hodgepodge means. For those of you who don’t, according to Wikipedia Hodgepodge or hotchpotch describes a confused or disorderly mass or collection of things; a "mess" or a "jumble". While the OED says, 'A dish made of a mixture of various kinds of meat, vegetables, etc., stewed together; a haricot; esp. in Scottish = hotchpotch'. Hmmmmmm. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines hodgepodge as a heterogeneous mixture : JUMBLE; e.g. a hodgepodge of styles
So, welcome to the first in my series of heterogeneous (but not messy) challenges.
There are already challenges that require you to find this, that and everything else. This requires planning, perseverance, stickability, lots of fine weather and time, especially if you have found all the caches near your place of residence.
Currently (March 2023) there are around 110 active puzzle caches in NZ with the challenge attribute on their cache page:
