Geocache Description:

About the location

This park is a spacious neighbourhood park with drinking fountain, barbeque, picnic shelter and playground. The park was originally designed to be used as a market square in 1922. The park has been landscaped and replanted in 2000, and is well kept for the public to use. Besides normal recreation, Market Square Park is also often used for large events, festivals and weddings. The central gazebo often hosts bands and performers, and the park is available for event bookings. The park has close proximity to Station Square and Subiaco train station.
