Course Thesis: Interpreting Narrative through Creation with Clay, Pencil, and Language
Course Description: This is a course using creative arts to bring into focus questions about the fundamental nature of narrative, about the analogies between different types of creative arts, and even about what a creative art is. Instructors will formulate narratives and realize them through the media of clay, pencil, and language. Students will learn the basics of interpreting evocative representations in shape and form in relation to their own, internal, linguistic narrations.

Today's cast of characters rendered in clay:
Madison the Lost Dog and the Scary Puppy*

*No animals were harmed in the creation of these figurines.
These lovable characters were formed from natural materials with legal child labor, then captured indelibly in the rich sketches upon which the students' narration will build.
Set forth, follow the clay-art, and create your internal narrative!
