This cache was inspired by my quixotical journey to find “It is High, It is Far, It is Orange” GC669A – one of the last of the 100 Golden Oldies I needed to find to qualify for that challenge. The 10 mile 6 hour epic journey (due to hiking the wrong trail and having to double back) was one of the hardest caching adventures I had ever experienced. You can read my log to relive the details.
About the cache: This cache is part of the Before the Snow Flies GadgetFest event and is located on the VAST trail in Richmond. It is not high nor far nor orange. It is a blue Tupperware container of the same style. Parking is at a pull off along Jericho Road. Walk down the hill keeping to the right to get to the trailhead. Stay away from the left as there is a steep rocky bank.
