Welcome to the 'All Counties in Two States Challenge'. This is pretty simple, you have to have found a cache - of any type - in every county in two states.
The fine print:
- The checker should be used to verify if you're qualified. Please include the checker output in your log. Feel free to brag about your achievements in your log.
- For the purposes of this challenge Alaskan 'boroughs' and Louisiana 'parishes' are equivalent to counties.
- Any two US states qualify. That could be as few as 7 counties, if you've found all the counties in Delaware (3 counties) and Hawaii (4 counties, but more about that later). Or it could be as many as 423 counties if you've found all the counties in Georgia (159 counties) and Texas (254 counties)!
- Washington D.C. is not a state, and in any case is recognized as only one county equivalent area. That's too much of a 'gimme'.
- Hawaii: Hawaii actually has five counties, but no caches are hidden in Kalawao County, which is just the village of Kalawao on the island of Moloka'i, population 82. Therefore Kalawao County is a free-square, and you only need four counties to complete Hawaii.
- As always, you're expected to sign the challenge in order to claim a find. You may sign the challenge before you qualify, but you may not claim a find, and should log a note in that case.
- Per the International Geocaching Accords, I qualified for this challenge with finds in all the counties of Delaware (3 counties), Illinois (102 counties), and Rhode Island (5 counties).
