WVTim has put out a wonderful series of gadget caches in Martinsburg, WV. If you ever get the opportunity to visit these caches, you will not be disappointed! These are incredibly fun and challenging gadget caches!
This cache is our version of a WVTim gadget cache. So even though it will be easy to find the cache container, it will take a little work to figure out how to access the log. The log is protected by a 4 digit combination lock .. you will need to figure out the combination. Everything you need is right here at GZ .. and nothing needs to be forced or taken apart!
I put close to 30 hours into the construction of this cache .. so please be gentle with it! If you are stuck and don't know now to proceed, try sending me a message via geocaching.com .. I will respond as soon as I am able.
The cache is on private property and has been placed with permission. Please be respectful of the area!
Please use the provided parking coordinates. They are the best place to park for this cache.
UPDATE 5/23/2023: We have decided to relocate this cache a little bit, after it was recently damaged by vandals! Originally, you did not need to enter the fenced area in order to access the cache .. but that has now changed! The cache is now within the fenced area of the church. But you do not need to enter into the garden area! If people are workiing in the garden, you should still feel free to go for the cache; most people at the church know about the cache, and if you happen to run across someone working in the garden who doesn't know about it, then feel free to educate them about geocaching!
You will need to bring your own pen, and there is no room for swag.
There is a deactivated FTF geocoin for the first person to solve this puzzle!
Please put everything back together when you are done, so the next cacher can enjoy solving the gadget!
