Geocache Description:

Enjoy a nice stroll in Bellevue Hill Park and you'll end up in the highest natural point in the City of Boston.  This cache is hidden in a great little location for kids and adults alike.  The area, paths, and trails are heavily trafficed so take care to watch out for muggles and their dogs out for a walk.

While walking around, you wont be able to miss Bellevue Standpipe.  Built in 1914, and a landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, the Bellevue Standpipe now serves as a backup to the to the second, newer water tank built right next to it.

You are looking for a micro cache - a small pill bottle.  Small pencil placed in cache on 12/18/2022 but still recommend BYOP.  Cache was hidden in early September in the rain, some of the stairs were wet so take care not to slip.  The park is accessible year round, but can be icy in the Winter months.

Trails is accessed from two locations on Bellevue Hill Road and one on the West Roxbury Parkway.  The marked waypoint should be considered handicapped accessible as long as the gate is open, though it is usually closed and locked.  There is space to the side of the gate, but it is gravel and there are boulders, making accessibility a challenge.

Street parking is plentiful in side streets on Bellevue Hill, no parking on Washington St or W. Roxbury Parkway.  Park can also be reached via public transportation on the 34, 34E, 40, and 50 busses.
