This cache was orginally placed for the annual Greater Omaha Grave Hop, an event that takes place in the Omaha area. The caches are located in and around cemeteries. Please be respectful and seach for the caches between dawn and dusk.

And now for the rest of the story. I came out here to scout this location and almost immediately discounted it. The reasons all seemed to be clear. It was to close to the house. It seemed to be to small to hold anything that would make a good puzzle. The monuments looked to fragile and I didn't want anything to happen to them. I didn't want to upset whomever the caretaker was and didn't even know if I could find that person to ask for permisson. Boy, was I wrong! As I stood there listening to the quite, thinking about a small cemetery in the middle of nowhere, a car pulled up with two older ladies inside. They looked like they had just been going or coming from a daily appointment.
"Are you looking for someone" the driver asked.
"Nope just admiring this small family cemetery" I responded back.
"Well, this is my family cemetery and I take care of it." she replied. Ohhhh, check that last reason off the list, I thought.
"I have a family cemetery in my family also, not this small though." I thought I'd win her over. After some small talk about who was who and the history of her family cemetery. I thought I'd take a chance. "Well, another reason I like your cemetery is because of this game called "geocaching".You ever heard of it? "
"Nope"
After a short lesson on what geocaching is and the G.O. Hop event I ventured to ask. "Mind if I put a small container OUTSIDE your cemetery?"
"Well, I guess that would be okay. But mind you, there is lots of poision ivy along this fence and I DON"T want nobody inside! Those markers aren't gonna stand for anyone messin' with them. See how some are already toppled over?"
"Yes ma'am"
So with the drive by and through the car window permission of Mrs. Evelyn Carter the great, great great, grand daughter of the giver of this land for his family to have a local cemetery, I'm placing a traditional here.
