This geocache is located in the Lake Elmo Park Reserve. A daily fee or yearly sticker is required to enter in a vehicle. Entrance is free the first (non-holiday) Tuesday of each month.
This location is the former site of an Eagle Scout Project bird blind. You can observe many species of birds from this nice vantage point.
While it is winter friendly, please respect the ski trail rules, which means you must have a ski pass and skis to get most of the way to this cache, otherwise, bushwhack your way there.
In the summer, it is easily reached by trails.
Parking is available at the trail head parking lot.
