Located in front of you is Bambers Superette, an Italian grocery store opened in 1950 and currently still owned by the same family for 3 generations. This original old tyme feeling local store now specializes in international food items, German sausage, Italian sauces, French style bread. When you think of all the things a mom and pop store has to gi through to make it over 70 yeras in busines and still maintain it's atmosphere, pretty amazing hallmark of the diverse heritage of the city. You also have behind you the South Bend Farmers Market, organic fruits and veggies, local honey and coffee. Love the history of this town!
