This 180-acre park, formerly Wicked Woods Golf Course, was purchased by Geauga Park District in November 2018 with the intent of restoring these lands to a more natural state. A new loop trail and existing former cart paths total 4.68 miles. Children can have fun here on a Nature-based playground, and a public pavilion is features picnic tables, restrooms and a water refill station.
This property plays an important role in the preservation of cold-water habitat and water quality within the Cuyahoga River watershed.
Veterans are encouraged to mention their branch of service in their log and post an optional photo taken at the approprite commemorative post.
A note about the difficulty - if you don't have a trail map, or a geocaching app that shows the paths you may find yourself wandering quite a bit.
The trails are named for colors but there aren't and trail markers andthe trees obscure the paths in satellite view
For this reason the difficulty may be raised based on geo feedback.
