Welcome to the Fairbourne Flier, my third cache series. The route begins flat in and around Fairbourne then heads up the hills to Blue Lake (an old quarry) and along the top before dropping down near Arthog.
I highly recommend tweezers for this series as many of the caches have a log inside a small tube.
As always, a big thanks to Gwyned County Council and Snowdonia National Park for permissions.
Fairbourne is a Welsh seaside village. It lies on the coast of Barmouth Bay in Arthog community, to the south of the estuary of the River Mawddach in Gwynedd, surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. Due to rising sea levels, sadly, Fairbourne is a village at risk.
In front of you is the Fairbourne steam railway track, a line which links Fairbourne village centre to Barmouth ferry - well worth a ride.
You are looking for a silver magnetic micro on the footpath gate.
