All caches have been placed, using a 4wd, high clearance vehicle. Williamson Valley Road is beat up from the Monsoon, but you will be fine in the family sedan. Use your decision-making skills if you are uneasy about the road.
As we approach Fall, there has been a short break in the weather. Temps were supposed to be in the 70’s, but as I started placing more caches in the Playground, the temperature was on the rise. I placed 18 on this outing before it hit 84 degrees and I called it a day.
As always, please use caution when driving on Forest Service Roads, sometimes they don’t even seem like roads. Remember to bring food and water if you are planning to be out here all day. Cattle, Snakes, Jackrabbits and maybe, even Sasquatch can be found out here. Cache SAFELY and have a great time out here.
