Sherwood District Park is a well used park on the west side of Milton with a playground, walking trails, basketball net, baseball diamond and a cricket park.
Whenever I walk by here on a Sunday during the nicer weather, there is a group playing cricket here. I stopped to ask the spectators the rules one day and they were kind of enough to try to explain but I'm still kind of confused!! They look like they are having a lot of fun and I give them credit for standing out there on the hot, hot summer days we have had this year.
Lots of parking available here so please don't stop on Tremaine.
Kids will be able to find it, but watch for the giant stabby things!!
