Our family recently got into paddle boarding and knew right away that we needed to place a geocache on an island. We're not sure if this tiny island has an official name, but our son named it Hammock Island given it has a nice hammock on it with a great view of the water, perfect to take a little rest after paddling close to ground zero. If you park at the parking coordinates and paddle from the boat launch, the easiest way to get to ground zero is to circle to the right side of the island (furthest away from the main land) instead of the "front side" as you approach it. If you enter from the front side you can still find the geocache but you'll need to do a little more climbing around large rocks.
