Geocache Description:

I placed this cache on the edge of the Oil Well Flats area because that is where I was introduced to geocaching. It's in the south part of the area. There are two approaches described, because the roads that run through Oil Well Flats are rough, rocky, rutted, and impassable when wet. High clearance is suggested. Parking coordinates should be close.

The first approach requires that you drive through Oil Well Flats to one of the furthest south campsites, Camp 20. Park near the campsite or just around the corner. A rocky road trap that probably requires 4-wheel drive/high clearance exists about 0.4 miles before reaching the marked parking area. Once on foot, ignore the Anticline TH on the left and keep going to find the Anticline TH on the right. Take this until it intersects with the MOOve Over trail, then follow your GPS.

To avoid the bad roads or to get more of a workout, park at the lower MOOve Over TH by a pump station along CR9. (This road has about four names.) Take the trail up, climbing about 300 ft to GZ. The other route only changes elevation by about 100 ft. This route is longer, but starts at a paved road.

The cache is not far off the trail. Pandy doesn't like to leave the trail and risk cactus encounters. It's well hidden in rocks, (Really?!) but there aren't many nooks and crannies among the well-worn rounded rocks where it could be hidden. It would be hard to find with snow on the ground. Please replace as found.

It's starting out with a few shiny trinkets, a crisp dollar bill for FTF, and a trackable. FTF can also take the beehive-shaped 'Moki ball' keeping the cache company,, or leave it for others to see.
