Geocachers in Wisconsin
by Lacknothing
The year was 2000 and the month was May
Bill Clinton got up very early one day
And decided to give some officials a pitch
And asked them nicely to flip a switch
Which allowed GPS accuracy to soar
And this opened up more than one door.
On May 3, this bloke named Dave
Had a 5 gallon bucket he decided to save
He thought to create something that would be fun
And give people the chance to play in the sun
Stash Hunt he thought would be a good name
For this adventure themed game
Off he went to dig a hole in the ground
For the 5 gallon bucket to be found
And the very next day a guy named Mike
Decided that Oregon was the place to hike
He did some digging kind of like a mole
And found Dave's stash in the hole
And so began this game we all love
That none of us can get enough of
Stashes were hidden in many states
Australia too for the down under mates
A group in Wisconsin met in 2002
Wanting to promote caching, but what to do
Let's form the WGA one of them said
And they picked kbraband to be the head
So the story of caching in Wisconsin goes
And if you want to meet some caching bros
