Officially opened on 09/11/2022, this is a cool little park dedicated to all the hero's in our community. It's next to the Hays Performing Art's Center. At this park is a multi-cache with only one stage; however, you'll need to walk the park to solve the coordinates. This cache is a quick multi-stage cache and won't have you leaving the park area. The park is divided into sections, the Family Garden, Peace Garden, Web Garden, and Memorial.
To Solve:
The posted coordinates take you to the center of the park, but the cache is hidden at:
N 030 AA.BCD W 097 ED.FDC
where...
AA: Near the flag at the posted coordinates is a time capsule. The last two digits in the YEAR the time capsule is set to be opened are AA.
B: Walking around the park, you'll see a saying in large letters engraved over the water. The number of words in this engraved saying is B.
C: In the Family Gardens section at the POW/MIA table, the amount of candles at the table is C.
D: In the Web Gardens section, there is a playground. The amount of entrances to that playground is D.
E: In the Memorial Garden section, E is the last digit of the year both the Army and Marine Corp were founded (engraved on the stone).
F: In the Peace Garden section, there are benches with words written on them in a circle. The word with the smallest amount of letters, contains how many letters, and that is the answer for F.
This is a fairly large container, trackables and other goodies can fit inside.
Congratulations to linemanpower for the FTF!
