Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park was built in 1981 through the cooperation of the citizens of Juneau and the families of two police officers killed in the line of duty. Richard "Rick" J. Adair and Jimmy Earl Kennedy- These men dedicated their professional skills and devoted their personal lives to the welfare of our community. Their lives set an example for our youth of sportsmanship, perseverence, tolerance, and loyalty. We thank you for your sacrifice.
