Cache is a tiny camo taped 0.5ml tube ziptied tightly to a sawed off branch about 40 feet up a tree. Tiny tweezers are definitely needed to get the log out. Tree is located behind a guardrail within a town parking lot located along Water Street.
Paid parking Monday - Saturday from 9am to 6pm at the parking spots in front of Busby Park or within the nearby parking lot. You can park for free on Navy Street or other streets closer to the lake and walk the 400m to Busby Park. Oakville has a 3 hour street parking limit unless otherwise posted.
In the early days of Geocaching, Jeremy (one of the 3 founders of Groundspeak and original president) said that the Terrain rating is based on what the majority of the walk to GZ is and the last little bit, like going down a steep hill as you get within 20 feet of GZ, would be the Difficulty.
4 Stage Multi
The first 3 stages are located at Busby Park in Oakville.
Stage 1 - Take Shelter When It Rains - N43 26.608 W79 40.325
A = How many letters are on the manufacturer sticker on the side of the light unit that is located under the middle of the shelter roof? Both shelters have the same sticker. The one here is easier to read.
Stage 2 - We All Get A Sticker - N43 26.609 W79 40.329
B = On the south east post of the western shelter at about eye level is a small sticker with letters and numbers on it. Starts with a "CA". How many numbers are on this sticker?
Stage 3 - Call Your Grandma - N43 26.621 W79 40.322
C = How many "2"s are in the toll free phone # located directly above the pay phone. If you're not sure, maybe ask for some tips.
Final - Way Up There
Do the following math to find the cache location of the cache container.
X = (A * B) + C + C
Y = B + C
Add X to the decimal minutes of the posted North coordinates.
Add Y to the decimal minutes of the posted West coordinates.
