Come serve the community and be rewarded with the
CITO 2022 Season 2 Souvenir!
The posted coordinates are for parking before heading out along GEOregon's 1.2 miles stretch of the Clackamas County Adopt-A-Road program. Be sure to wear your hiking boots!
The county will supply all the CITO supplies: high visibility vests, grabbers, warning signs, and trash bags. All we need to supply is willing geocachers and gloves.
We will meet at 10 AM where we'll sign the logbook, have some brief socalizing time, make sure waivers are signed (if you done it before you should not be required to fill out another form), and do a short safety talk. Then we'll take a group photo by our sign and head out down the road.
Rules for the Event:
- Litter pickup is limited to the edge of the traveled portion of the road and the outer shoulder. Median strips and the traveled portion of the road are not included.
- Full trash bags will be left by the side of the road for pickup by the county.
- A safety orientation will be conducted prior to starting the CITO.
- All participants must sign a county liability release form.
- All participants must be 12 years of age or older (per Clackamas County rules)
- Everyone is welcome! No need to be a GEOregon member to participate
Dustin (Chalupa_Dad) is also planning to host a celebratory event at Five Guys in Happy Valley directly following the CITO!
