Geocache Description:

Pill bottle container is not at posted coordinates. Go to the park (daylight only) and to the detailed information sign that is at posted coordinates and get some information to direct you to the camo'd pill bottle nestled beside a nearby tree.

The sign describes the Regenerative Step Pool project in this area.

SKIM through the sign info. Hint: you can ignore the sign. The sign explains how water collected from the parking lots here was gushing through the area making a gully. That volume of water threatened the path as well as the quality of water in the stream - Strickler Run. This project involved building "step pools" to slow the water flow and allow it to soak into the ground on its way to the stream. A "step pool" is one of a series of small pools of water separated by small waterfalls. There are several "step pools" above and below the walking path. They may not contain water if it hasn't rained recently. Their details are shown in the crisp engineering drawings on the right side of the sign. Unfortunately, the number of pools (9) doesn't conveniently match digits in the coordinates of the final container about 200 feet from the sign.

Looking at EITHER the physical project in the ground before you OR the detailed engineering drawings,
count the number of UPPER step pools above the walking path as well as the number of LOWER step pools below the walking path.

A and B = LOWER minus 1
C = UPPER minus 1
X = LOWER
Y = UPPER minus 2
Z = UPPER plus 1
Container is at N 40 2.ABC W 76 26.XYZ
