Is this geocache at the actual coordinates? I guess it still is, you tell me. I'm never going back to check on it.
All I remember, as I stood there, cache in hand and trembling in the freezing darkness, is suddenly feeling a horrible presence of evil lurking nearby and then looming up behind me, and then hearing an ominous gargling growl and smelling the fetid breathe of my foul assailant. Terrified, I tried to flee for my life, gashing my leg open as I fell tripping down the steps, inflaming the creature's frenzy with the smell of my spilled blood, its howls getting louder and more insistent as I tried to tear myself from its grasp. Over the din of my shrieking and the creature's panting, I suddenly heard a tinkle of metal and realized my sharp TOTT had been wrenched from my bag and fallen onto the concrete, just out of reach. Straining and stretching, I barely got my fingers wrapped around the handle and, twisting with all the strength that remained, I plunged the tool into one of those monsterous red eyes. My attacker let out a piercing roar and plunged into the nearby woods, startling all the night creatures out into the road, where they turned, hungrily, in my direction. Too much terror, too much trauma, perhaps, but I fainted into unconsciousness, falling partway onto the roadway where a passing RapidRide C swerved abruptly to avoid crushing me and instead sideswiped an Uber driver. The Uber driver, quickly assessing the harrowing situation, scooped me up and gallantly transported me to the nearest Urgent Care.
This story is absolutely true...I swear on a pile of pathtags, I would never tell a lie. Please be equally truthful in your log when telling of your trials and difficulties in attempting---and perhaps even finding---this dreaded geocache in its forbidden den of darkness.
