This cache is hidden in the park that hosts the state's oldest rodeo.
Bickleton's Pioneer Picnic and Rodeo days.
A main attraction of the picnic and rodeo is the 50 cent ride on one of the west's oldest carousels - a 1905 Herschell-Spillman. It is said to be one of only three of its type still in operation. It was purchased from Portland's Oaks Park in 1927 and brought to the area.
Restored and maintained by the people of Bickleton, the carousel is a cherished fixture of the annual picnic and rodeo. The 24 original horses and calliope are assembled for a two day appearance only. If you are interested in the rodeo or riding on the carousel, the event is held annually on the second weekend in June.
Please take the time to re-hide the cache well.
