Whilst visiting the nearby and much recommended multi cache, the Key to the Oasis, this interesting place was found in a different part of the old quarry workings. Obviously once the terminus of an incline, the remains of the old machinery and the spectacular piles of spoil and other remains can be enjoyed. Why not stop and have an explore. Take care in abandoned areas like this in case there are any unstable areas or hidden shafts.
