Driving down the Grootrivier Pass from the N2 towards Nature's Valley is always a fabulous spectacle - the giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees you can see here in the valley along the road are spectacular- most of all at the viewpoint here where you can well park on the side of the road (DO NOT TRY TURNING IN HERE DRIVING UP THE PASS! Cars come down quickly around the corner amd an accident can easily happen!).
After a good look at the fabulous vegetation you can log this cache easily while pretending to sign the logbook of a very obvious 'Geocache' that is NOT part of our game but whose placements are useful to 'hijack' for our hobby. There is also a pen inside that box, should you forget your own.
DO NOT SIGN THE WRONG LOGBOOK or your entry will be deleted without warning!
You are searching for a magnet... Difficulty Rating is 2.5 because for some this seems harder to find than necessary - because they don't read the listing 😔. No signature on the logsheet = your log will be deleted.
