Tavares is known as "America's Seaplane City"
...and that's exactly what you're looking for!
This one seems to have overshot its landing on Lake Dora and ended up in the swamps of Tavares Nature Park. Don't worry, it found a nice, safe, dry area to park.
As in life, there's an easy way and a hard way to get here. The easy way is a little longer, but mostly dry. The hard was is a swamp hike. Both ways are actual trails and the cache is only approximately 10-15 ft off trail. At ground zero you will also find an easy way and a hard way. Go figure?
Enjoy this beautiful park while it's undiscovered. The way things are developing around here, it's won't last.
Good luck and happy hunting!
