This series was placed in celebration of the US 89 highway in north Davis County becoming a freeway. As part of this UDOT project, three new interchanges opened in Summer 2021 at 400 North in Fruit Heights, and Oak HIlls Drive and Gordon Avenue in Layton. The Antelope Drive interchange in Layton was completed in Fall 2022. Last to be completed in 2023 were overpasses on Nicholls Road in Fruit Heights and Crestwood Road in Kaysville.
