The Fairy's Garden
Titannia The Fairy looked across her garden realm, and marvelled at how pristine the lawns were, and at the immaculate trimmed bushes and hedges. The swallows flitted from tree to tree and a squirrel sprinted with purpose across the grass to raid its larder, high in the branches above. All was right in her fairy realm, she reflected....but wait!.....over near the bird bath....something was wrong with the ornamental paving.
She headed over there to find that several of the paving stones were missing. 'Not again' she thought, a particularly acquisitive group of badgers from a nearby wood were prone to pilfering her paving stones, and it looks like they had been at it again. She looked over the hedge toward the woods and imagined the guilty parties sitting around on their deck chairs admiring their new patio. Never mind, although she had a typically unreliable memory as fairy's do, she was very meticulous when it came to her garden and had numbered all the paving stones, so she could order replacements from her garden supplies outlet - Gnomebase. 'Now, where did I put that piece of paper with the numbers on....?' she wondered, her memory letting her down once again.
