This cache is located in an early Robertson County cemetery. It is the final resting place for many of the Wheelock area's earliest settlers, including some of mine. I remember visiting here many years ago with my grandfather, who with a swipe of his hand, commented that there were people buried all over the area many without markers. Take a minute to read the historical marker, enjoy the quiet solitude and imagine what this area was like in the 1830's. Remember Robertson County is AKA Booger County, be respectful when visiting, the residents were pretty tough to survive here in the past, I am sure they could be pretty tough to tangle with now if you disturb them.
