Cache #162
The Federation Council is a local government area located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. This area was formed in 2016 from the merger of the Corowa Shire with its neighbouring Urana Shire. These caches are some random additions to encourage more visitors to this part of the world.
A short multi at an interesting rest area with some interp signs - a pity there is always a bit of rubbish here (probably indicates well used, but people are lazy). There is quite a bit of information about Grassy Box Woodland, some picnic tables, a toilet (enter at your own risk!) and strangely a large compass on the ground (it won't help find the cache though).
At the starting waypoint you are at a sign extoling the virtues of roadside vegetation. Use the following questions to find the coordinates (S 35 4A.AAB E 146 2C.DDE).
A = Number of letters in the word of the thing that collection of is "not permitted on most roads in the Murray region."
B = Number of letters in the word on the left "Red Guide Post"
CD = Kangaroos will be present for how many kilometres?
E = There are approximately 18? thousand kilometres of public roads in NSW.
The cache is a short walk away - you are looking for the dreaded mint tin here. You may require a special tool to retrieve (particularly if the previous finder has not returned correctly). This is a busy spot so stealth will be required. Another bush cache so beware of snakes. And maybe pick up a piece of rubbish while here.
