Welcome to the 'Cars' route, based on Disney's Cars films. Each cache has a character inside.....but can you guess who? When you log your find, log who you thought it was going to be! (I'm assuming grown ups can read children the clue and log their guesses!) (THIS IS AN OPTIONAL ACTIVITY.)
Cars Cache 1 belongs to a truck who fell asleep enroute!
Cars Cache 2 belongs to Dinoco's golden boy.
Cars Cache 3 belongs to a FABULOUS car who won 3 consecutive Piston Cups!
Cars Cache 4 belongs to the best backwards driver!
Cache 5....KACHOW!!! You made it to the end!
This route has been written with young children in mind, and is also the short route for the Norland Scarecrow Festival. My 2 year old managed to walk the majority of the route and I also took a pushchair around. There is just 1 fairly steep hill to climb between 4 and 5 - though it can be done in any order!
Each cache is large enough for swappables, and following the Cars theme, I have dropped some toy cars in each to get going! Hidden with a caching friend and themed Cars because our kids are OBSESSED!!
