Geocache Description:

At Harbison State Forest. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To get this cache you will need a pencil compass, a regular compass, and a map of the forest. The best map is one that you can pick up at one of the many Kiosks around the park. You can print out a map at: http://www.sctrails.net/trails/MAPS/HarbisonSF%20map.html but it doesn't have the detail that it used to so your results may vary.

NOTE: ONLY THE MAP LOCATED AT MANY OF THE TRAILHEADS WILL WORK FOR THE CACHE

To get to the cache, go through the following steps. If you need additional help, the cheat will take you to it. Hope you enjoy this and have fun!

1. Go to the above cords (These are for a marked parking area on the map)

2. Once you're there, open your pencil compass to 2cm (4 of those little notches)

3. With the metal tip in the center of the number block, draw a complete circle on the map.

4. Now look 45 degrees north, and you'll see where the circle and the 2 trails meet.

5. Go to that intersection.

6. Look SE and you'll see a little foot bridge about 30' away.

7. Go and stand on that foot bridge.

8. The cache is 150'-175' south of where you are.
