The Mourne Hand sculpture is in the Silent Valley Mountain Park. The current admission fee is £5 per car, which can be paid by cash or card.

The granite bowl represents the reservoir and dam. The 7ft arch represents the Binnnion Tunnel and the trumpets herald the diversity of nature in the area. The hand at the base refers to the men of Mourne who built the Wall, dams and tunnel. Their children remember them as having broad shoulders and hands like shovels!
Walk through the trail behind the sculpture to find GZ. Please feel free to replace a wet log.
