Monthly Geocaching Edmonton and Area Meet and Greet
'GCR999' is our monthly gathering, usually the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
This is the periodic meeting of the Edmonton geocaching community. Everyone is invited: Edmonton cachers, Alberta cachers, and cachers from anywhere on visit to Edmonton. (Yes, even our Calgary friends are welcome!) This is a great opportunity to meet with other cachers to talk about life, the universe and geocaching. You can also meet to exchange travel bugs and geocoins.
Given that someone else is hosting an event at Fargos in October, I thought it would be interesting to try some place 'new'. The Transit Hotel is certainly not new; it is well over 100 years old. Recently, under new management, it is being reinvented. Check out their website - Transit Smokehouse & BBQ for their menu. Parking is available north of the hotel, and nearby.
As this is a new venue for us, PLEASE post your 'will attend' by latest Monday, 19-October so I can advise the staff.
