Geocache Description:

Infomation:

This cache was placed to make people aware of what these things are used for. If you step back and look up in the air you will see a steel pole and at the very top of the steel pole is a "Air Raid Siren". At about 19:00hrs (7pm) on a Monday night the volunteer fire brigade normally test it. Fire & Emergency currently have 360 volunteer fire station's and about 95% of stations use sirens like/similar to these. I am myself actuly a volunteer firefighter myself in a small town called Brightwater so one of those 360 stations is mine. The purpose of these sirens is to firstly alert the firefighters to the fire station and secondley alert the public of possable moving vehicles to and from the fire station.

About the Cache:

Cache is a eclipse mint box that contains a log book in a bag with gell packs (please ensure they are left in there). Please bring your own pen or pencil. Please return the cache to exactly where you found it.

Enjoy Cheers
