Leaving last month's "First Thursdays in Columbia Event," I prepared to get in my car and drive home, when all of a sudden I heard a strange sound in the air. As I listened closer, I realized the sound was actually music. Feeling curious, I set off on foot and followed the melody south along Little Patuxent Parkway. As the melody got louder, I knew I was getting closer. I arrived at a pile of logs right off the sidewalk, where it became clear that this was the location from which the music was eminating. What could be making that sound?!?!
...well, I couldn't tell you. It was dark, and I was too chicken to check the pile of logs for the source of the song. So for now, it remains a mystery. But I am hoping some of the cachers out there may be a bit braver than I am, and help determine the source of this music.
Unfortunately, in my panic I forgot to jot down the coordinates of this source. However, in order to get there you can project a distance of 327 meters at a bearing of 184 degrees from the posted coordinates. I also managed to take a picture of the log pile. I took it right from the sidewalk, while facing eastward. And I drew a map of the walking route I took from the posted coordinates. Hopefully all this info can help you locate the source of this music!

D/T rating takes into consideration both the letterbox instructions and the hide. Before you seek the sound, I suggest you bring your own pen. This should go witout saying, but PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE STAMP OR INK PAD!
As always: Don't be that guy! Please leave the cache, stamp, and ink pad as good as or better than you found them.
