Our last CITO/Bushcare event of the year.
Join us 27/11/21, We will be planting seedlings, Whitehaven Bushcare group in trying to eradicate a number of weeds, Biden's or farmers friends ,& paddy's lucerne
When: Sunday 10 am - 12 noon 27th November
Where: Lyndel Close, Quakers Hill
From the parking area, is where "Dave", will park the council truck and this shall be our meeting location, will cover a brief safety talk.
We will have another batch of seedlings to get into the ground, and then the plan is to then tackle some invasive species weed removal within the bushland, with particular emphasis on Paddy’s Lucerne, Biden’s Pilots, & slight numbers of Mother of Millions. The CITO event does include invasive weed removal.
In the area we will be working, the terrain is varied and covers gently sloping areas. Please work in the areas that you are most comfortable in.
What to Bring: Sun hat, sturdy shoes, long sleeve shirt, long pants, sunscreen, drinking water, although gloves will be provided, and of course will take a picture of the group.
