This cache is placed as a project for the Resource Science class of Drake High School.
The cache is placed on private property owned by the Cache Owner. Be guided accordingly. You may see a dog. He's all bark and no bite. If you have doggie treats, he'd probably become your newest best friend.
The cache will be maintained by the cache owner AND the kids of the Resource Science class at the high school in Drake.
I also have several caches EAST of Drake. One in Anamoose at the 1909 Steakhouse (A retread cache, GCA0D66), one just over the county line in Pierce County (A "Simple" Park and Grab, GC8PBKV), and one in the next county beyond in Sheridan County, a bit further EAST (Stop "Herr" First, GC8PNX5).
All are QEF's and within a total of probably less than 15 miles. Will allow you to get a total of 4 caches and 3 counties without having to drive all over the countyside to make grabs. Continue into Harvey and you can get a 4th county (Wells County).
CONGRATS TO G.O. John and Carol for the FTF
A note for winter time. The cache might be a wee bit difficult to get to right after a snow storm. The best way to approach during the winter, if there is a snow obstacle, would be from the corner of Lake and 2nd. We do try to keep the walkway cleared but the steps from the street take a bit of effort. Also, please watch for ice. It gets real slick around here.
