This cache at the William J. Robertson Nature Preserve is special for a couple of reasons. #1 it is a large cache with room for many "swag" trade items (It's starting with some handyman swag.) #2 Presently you will be bushwacking a little on this cache where all other caches are very near trails. This trail will be complete as early as next year but for now Geocachers will own it. For now watch out for the knee high briars.
#3 The name of this cache has significant meaning to Scouts/Scouters and Native Americans. The symbols in the picture below all mean "End of Trail". End of trail has two meaning itself. Simply any one of these signs mean literally the end of the trail you are walking, riding, skiing, etc. The sign would most likely be posted on a tree at the end of the managed trail. The more in-depth meaning is the end of a life. Any one of these symbols may be found on or near a grave site or on a memory correspondence.
No need to look around for a tombstone. This cache is here because trees are blocking the way on this rustic trail. Once the trail is established, I’ll move the cache South to the edge of the property.
