Sonyea State Forest had a rather large meadow area to the northeast of the Keshequa Creek Gorge and just south of the State Prison Property.
The water tanks for the prison can be seen just north of the meadow.
Seeing a new hide near here and having just archived a hide in the gorge, I figured I would place another hide to bring people back for another visit this State Forest. The cache should be an easy find and you can easily drive close this geocache. My car GPS did not show this segment of the road but ironically it is one of the smoothest sections of Union Corners Road.
Rustic camping and hunting are allowed in the Forest so wear orange in hunting season and be stealty if muggles are about.
Rehide as well as you found it.
